Saturday, June 5 at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST is going to be another one hell of a night for MMA and fight fans all over the world. UFC 86: JACKSON vs. GRIFFIN is coming live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship organization presents the title bout between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Forrest Griffin, both coaches on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest, will be squaring off for Jackson’s UFC light heavyweight championship.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson recently made MMA history by unifying the light heavyweight belts of both PRIDE and UFC by defeating PRIDE champion Dan Henderson. Thus, he becomes the reigning undisputed light heavyweight MMA champion. “Rampage” Jackson owned the UFC title he captured by defeating Chuck Liddell via a first round knockout.

Forest Griffin on the other hand, earned the respect of fight fans everywhere when he submitted one of MMA’s best, pound for pound, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, in the third round at UFC 76. Now Griffin will try to pull a fast one and with his warrior heart try to defeat “Rampage” Jackson to become the new UFC light heavyweight champion.
