Father Michael Pfleger, the priest who mocked Hillary Clinton and who stood like a clown in front of Chicago’s Trinity Church was recently suspended by Archbishop Cardinal Francis George. Fr. Pfleger, a friend of former Obama pastor Jeremiah Wright, was asked to “step back from his obligations” at St. Sabina’s parish for two weeks. He later apologized to Mrs. Clinton.

His sermon was widely viewed on YouTube and ignited another controversy for the Democratic nominee. Obama, seeing his church as a political liability against his run with the Republican nominee John McCain, decided to quit the church.

The sad part of the video, in my opinion, is the celebrating and “amen” coming from those listening to the sermon as Fr. Pfleger mocked Hillary. You would think that this is a Christian church and mocking other people is not the Christian way. But, as we see, the very people who call themselves Christians are actually acting in un-Christian ways. It seems to me that the Trinity Church has become a church of hate. Oh well, good thing Obama has already left this church. Just really can’t imagine why it took him 20 years to realize this.
